Report a problem
If something on TPS is about you and shouldn’t be here, or infringes your rights, tell us on this page. You don’t need an account. TPS is run by ARATEKNA CORPORATION PTY LTD, an Australian company.
What you can report
- Content about you that is false or damaging to your reputation.
- Your personal information in a screenshot, a run note, an appeal post or a moderator note. That includes your name, face, username, file paths, email address, or anything else that identifies you.
- Copyright or other intellectual property infringement.
- Harassment, abuse, threats or other unlawful content.
One thing goes elsewhere. If you think a run is fabricated or its numbers are wrong, use the flag button on the run page, not this form. Flags go to the moderation queue. This page is for legal and personal complaints.
What to include
We can only act on a report we can understand and check. Give us:
- Your name and a way to reach you. Email is best.
- The exact URL or run ID. “A run by someone” isn’t enough; the link is.
- What the content is (a screenshot, a sentence in a note, a whole run).
- Why it shouldn’t be here.
Then, depending on the type of report:
- Defamation, or content that is false and damaging: say that you consider the content defamatory and that it is about you, and tell us what it says about you that is wrong.
- Copyright: identify the work you own (a title, a link to the original, or a description); state that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorised by you, your agent or the law; state that the information in your report is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and sign it (typing your full name counts as an electronic signature). Our designated copyright agent is [DMCA agent details].
- Personal information: tell us which information, and where in the content it appears. If you are reporting for someone else, tell us who you are to them and how you’re authorised to act (a parent, a lawyer, a signed authority).
If a report is missing something we need, we’ll ask you once. If we don’t hear back within 14 days, the report closes. You can send a new one at any time.
What happens next
- We confirm receipt within 2 business days and give you a reference number.
- We assess. Where a report gives us the minimum information above, we assess it and take reasonable steps within 7 days of receiving it. For defamation and personal-information reports this normally means restricting access to the content while we look, and then deciding. For copyright, we aim to act faster than that.
- Legal notices are different. If we receive a removal notice from the eSafety Commissioner, a court, or another regulator, we act within the time the notice sets (24 hours for eSafety removal notices) and then tell the affected user, unless the notice says we can’t.
If your report is upheld
- We remove or redact the content. The place where it was is marked “[removed following a complaint]” or “[removed: legal requirement]”, with the date. That marker records that something was removed and the general reason. It doesn’t say who was right; we don’t write our conclusions there.
- We tell the person who posted it, privately: what we did, what we relied on, and how they can challenge it.
- We tell you what we did.
If your report is not upheld
We tell you why, and what else you can do: send more information, or take the matter to one of the bodies listed under “Your other options”.
Copyright: counter-notices and repeat infringers
When we remove content after a copyright notice, we pass your notice to the person who posted the content so they can respond. They can send us a counter-notice saying they believe the removal was a mistake. We pass that counter-notice to you. If you don’t tell us within 10 business days that you’ve started court proceedings about the content, we may restore it.
People who repeatedly post infringing content lose their accounts. How that works is in our Repeat infringer policy.
Reports we can’t act on here
- You disagree with a moderation decision (a demotion, a removal, or a moderator note about your run). Use the appeal on the run page. That’s what it’s for.
- A run that is real but slow. Slow isn’t a problem. That’s what a leaderboard is for.
- You want your own content taken down. Withdraw the run from the run page, or delete your account in Settings. Appeal posts and flag notes stay as part of the public record; the Terms explain why.
- Reports without enough information. We’ll ask once. After that, the report closes until you send what’s missing.
Records, contact and your other options
We keep a private record of every report and every decision. We don’t publish reports.
You can also reach us at hello@tokenspersecond.ai, or by post at Level 10, 530 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000, Australia.
If you’re not satisfied with what we do, you have other options:
- the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) for privacy complaints;
- the eSafety Commissioner (esafety.gov.au) for serious online abuse;
- the courts;
- if you’re in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority or the relevant regulator where you live.
Using this page doesn’t affect your legal rights.
